You could fit a sensecam on a household robot so you can command it to 'check if i closed the faucet' 'check if i turned off the gas' 'check if i locked the french windows' 'check if the icecream is still inside the fridge' by issuing robo-moving command over a medium like the internet, and watching the action in real time through the robot's own eyes. It would be Truman show through the eyes of Truman.
