Looking into the Future with LivingInCycles

The podcast circuit continues, as I get to discuss the themes of my recent book 21st Century Rosicrucianism with a wide range of interesting people.

This week, I was delighted to have a conversation with Sindy who runs the Living In Cycles blog and YouTube channel. An astrologer by practice and trade, her approach to the cycles of life that astrology helps people to contemplate and work with adds a lot to our understanding of what our spiritual practices can bring to the world around us.

Full video of our conversation is available on the Living In Cycles YouTube channel and can be viewed below, where we cover a wide range of topics including:

  • How to balance the different elements of our spiritual lives;
  • Seeing our own personal development as part of a wider, collective progression;
  • The impact of technology and how we can help improve our new, digital landscapes;
  • The initiatory role of the planetary spheres and working with them through astrotheurgy;

…and more! Enjoy the content below and please do subscribe to the Living in Cycle channel and share the video to support Sindy’s work.

21st Century Rosicrucianism – Available for Order!

Orders for my new book 21st Century Rosicrucianism are now shipping!

When the original Rosicrucian pamphlets were circulated in the early 1600s they sent a shockwave across Europe, instigating a surge of activity that changed the course of Western Esotericism. The fact that they still resonate 400 years later is testament to the essential truth in the message of Love, Light and Reformation that they contained. Why do these manifestos, the traditions they were influenced by and the movement that they announced still speak to us? What does Rosicrucianism look like in the 21st century and how can it be practiced today? How is the context of the modern world similar to that of the original authors and what new challenges do we face that speak to the same need for spiritual liberation?

Emerging from 20 years of experience across a range of Rosicrucian orders and practice, this book brings together a vision of how the tradition speaks directly to our spiritual needs. Not only in how we understand the works of the past, but how each of us can incorporate the Rosicrucian worldview into our lives and become part of an inherently utopian movement that remains relevant and meaningful today.

Avoiding doctrine in favour of an open and honest portrayal of life in the Spirit, inside you will find a new way of viewing the Rosicrucian tradition that encourages us to embrace our own living embodiment of the eternal relationship between Humanity, Creation and the Divine.

Esoteric Review: Holy Daimon by Frater Acher

There aren’t many esoteric authors today producing works with the kind of allure Frater Acher has achieved. His open and honest style has allowed him to combine anonymity with approachability, backed up by a level of scholarship and depth of understanding that many publications lining occult bookstores are not able to muster. The fact thatContinue ReadingContinue Reading

Conjuring the Planetary Intelligences: Hagiel of Venus

Over the course of the past year, I have been working with a small group of fellow seekers (organised by Josh Proto of Stellar Talismans) on magical workings intended to open communication with the planetary intelligences as outlined in traditional Renaissance astrological and occult practices. As someone with little knowledge of astrology, but enough experienceContinue ReadingContinue Reading
